Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions

Booking Policy

At Bloom Cosmetic Lounge, we value your time and ours. To ensure a seamless experience for all clients, please review our booking and cancellation policies before scheduling your appointment.

  

1. Booking & Deposits

All appointments are made through our secure online booking system. A non-refundable booking deposit is required to confirm your appointment:

  • Eyebrow Wax or Tint: $10 deposit
  • Brow Lamination: $50 deposit
  • Cosmetic Tattooing: $100 deposit
  • Cosmetic Medical Treatments: $50 deposit

Your deposit will be applied toward the cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.

  

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any appointment rescheduling or cancellations.

  • Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit.
  • Missed appointments (no-shows) will also result in loss of deposit.
  • Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may impact your ability to make future bookings.

  

3. Appointment Policy

Please arrive on time to allow for your full consultation and treatment.

  • If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled      to avoid impacting other clients, and your deposit may be forfeited.
  • New clients are required to complete a consultation and/or consent form prior      to treatment.

  

4. Refunds & Packages

  • Deposits are non-refundable except in the event that Bloom Cosmetic Lounge      declines treatment.
  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind or dissatisfaction with results, as treatment outcomes can vary between individuals.
  • Packages or prepaid services are non-transferable and must be used by the      named client.

  

5. Medical Suitability

  • All treatments require a consultation to determine suitability.
  • Treatments will not proceed if contraindications are identified. The final decision to proceed rests with the treating nurse or medical practitioner.
  • Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

  

6. Legal & Medical Governance

(All cosmetic medical treatments at this clinic are carried out under appropriate medical governance and in compliance with Australian regulatory requirements. All registered nurses work in collaboration with qualified medical practitioners or nurse practitioners who provide prescribing, oversight and clinical support. Every patient receives an individualised consultation and prescription from an authorised prescriber prior to treatment. Medications are administered in accordance with the relevant state and national regulations, ensuring the highest standard of patient safety and ethical care.)

  

7. Liability Disclaimer

  • All cosmetic medical treatments are provided by a Registered Nurse under the supervision of a prescribing doctor.
  • Bloom Cosmetic Lounge is fully insured for all services provided.
  • By booking, you acknowledge and accept that no treatment results can be guaranteed, and you release Bloom Cosmetic Lounge from liability for adverse outcomes, except as required by law.

  • Consultation and consent forms completed in person or electronically

  • Managing and confirming appointments
  • Providing safe and appropriate cosmetic medical and beauty treatments
  • Assessing suitability for specific procedures and documenting treatment plans
  • Billing, invoicing, and managing payment transactions or adjustments
  • Providing aftercare and follow-up support
  • Complying with legal, medical, and record-keeping requirements
  • Sending appointment confirmations, reminders, and clinic updates (with your consent)

  

4. How We Store and Protect Information

  • All personal and medical records are stored securely through privacy-compliant systems.
  • Access to records is restricted to authorised team members directly involved in      your care.
  • Both electronic and physical files are protected against unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure.
  • Information will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties except      where required by law or with your explicit consent.

  

5. Disclosure of Information

Your information may only be disclosed:

  • When required by law, court order, or regulatory authority
  • To qualified healthcare professionals involved in your care (e.g. consulting or supervising practitioners)
  • When necessary for compliance with medical, audit, or insurance obligations

  

6. Photography and Marketing Consent

  • Clinical photographs may be taken before and after treatments for documentation purposes.
  • Images will only be used for marketing, educational, or promotional purposes with your written consent.
  • You may withdraw consent for image use at any time by contacting us in writing.

  

7. Data Retention

In compliance with New South Wales health regulations, all client records are securely stored for a minimum of seven (7) years from the date of your last treatment, or longer if required by law.

  

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information
  • Request corrections or updates to your details
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications or image use
  • Lodge a complaint if you believe your privacy has been compromised
