Please be aware that the following conditions may prevent you from receiving your scheduled treatment. If any of these apply to you and you have an upcoming appointment, kindly inform Bloom Cosmetic Lounge promptly.
Skin Conditions:
- Infections and Irritations: Avoid treatment if there are skin infections (e.g., impetigo, open wounds, cuts), sunburn, psoriasis, dryness, eczema, or ringworm. These conditions can worsen with the procedure.
- Recent Skin Treatments: Ensure at least one week after a facial peel, and the skin must be fully healed from brow tattoos or sunburn before proceeding with lamination.
- Breakouts and Beauty Spots: Do not treat areas with active acne, breakouts, warts, moles, beauty spots, or birthmarks.
Allergies:
- Previous Reactions: If there's a history of allergic reactions to lash or brow lifting products, or tint, avoid these steps in the lamination process. Always conduct a tint test.
Hair Treatments:
- Bleaching and Henna: Avoid bleaching and henna dye less than one week before lamination as they can dehydrate hair, leading to overprocessing.
- Medications and Topical Treatments: Stop using retinol, AHA, and Retin-A products 3-4 weeks before treatment. Accutane users should stop 1-2 months prior due to hypersensitivity risks.
Sun Exposure:
- Sun and Tanning: Avoid sun exposure and spray tans five days before treatment. Going into the sun on the same day as a hair removal procedure is not recommended.
Medications:
- Photosensitising Medications: Be cautious with medications that make the skin sensitive to light. Consult your doctor if unsure.
Health Conditions:
- Pregnancy: The product manufacturer does not recommend use during pregnancy.
- Epilepsy and Diabetes: Consult a doctor before proceeding.
- Alopecia Areata: This condition can affect hair regrowth and treatment outcomes.
Additional Considerations:
- Wrinkle, fine line treatments and facial and volume loss/asymmetry treatment: Wait at least two weeks after wrinkle and fine line treatment or facial and volume loss and asymmetry treatments.
- Head Lice: Ensure the scalp is clear of lice before proceeding with treatment.
